stages bike zwift

You should check out my videos. Finally you may have noticed that the Stages Bike actually has splayed out bars by default. Not all jerseys a permanent - there are many jerseys that are rewarded to riders and runners depending on the course and their ranking against others in a course. I do all my trainings in ERG mode… and sufferfest usually keeps playing with power and pedalling speed targets. It’s not just the visual representation of the wattage that is a concern but it’s far from smooth when pedaling and nothing like real life. Wattbike is definitely a ‘low-maintence’ kinda product. B) ERG more stability in terms of maintaining the target power, needs a lot of work. I’ll feedback after my ride to let you know if this is better. I finally got around to re-doing a workout that I had done with the old firmware. I tried TrainerRoad and Zwift via both ANT+ & BLE. It’s just the software that needs some more work. hi I am wondering if you had a chance to test the new fw v1.10.0. In other words, if TrainerRoad tells it to set the wattage to 300w (after being at 150w), how long does it take to get to 300w? Also, as noted earlier there’s further yet aux ports for those remote shifter cables. 8. (11:47:06 AM) Patrick: i.e. I suspect Stages has a massive upperhand here having produced gazillions of bikes before. I’m sure they’ll eventually add it (they’ll have to), but I don’t see any near-term timeframe for that. As someone who also started out cycling from a very overweight perspective I can tell you that its likely the saddle/soreness will be your limiting factor. I’m happy to poke them, but passive aggressive comments on a Sunday directed to me isn’t the best way to go about it. (my curiosity is due to the fact that they seem to do something like Peloton, but open also to other systems like Zwift, or importing routes from Strava and so on…, and with the fact that they should have some extensive experience on how to build indoor spin bikes, so the product should be good) It might be worth noting 2 things in your review, one is that wattbike don’t allow us to turnoff erg in TR so we can’t even use it manually if we want to. Sounds silly, but super practical. The iterative cycle and realities of developing a big heavy/bulky object with complex internals simply drive that out. My phone constantly clicks or vibrates from the shifting feedback. The after sales support so far is disappointing. 2. Shouldn’t the speed be the same? Basically, this is more of a practical list of likes/dislikes: – The tablet mount is nailed, it might look a bit clunky, but it’s the most stable one out there and easiest to actually use No, I use sufferfest in level mode for my training. All that said, it’s a great bit of kit and it works very well for training purposes. When it comes to shifting on the Stages Bike, I’d put it in the ‘mostly good, but still a work in progress’ category. My road bike with conventional chain is much smoother. In the context of Zwift however, there’s not too many differences (whereas when paired to something like a Garmin/Wahoo/etc, there are substantial differences in terms of features you get – so you’ll almost always want to use ANT+). Send me an email regarding this, I’ll reply and let you know what they said. Surely for something of this complexity, and given the price point, it suggests a lack of faith in the product and, in my case, is dissuading me from reaching into my pocket. You won’t get any interaction from a wattage/cadence/resistance standpoint on Peloton, though, that’s 100% the fault of Peloton. Is that an incorrect reading from Stages, or an incorrect lack of reading from Favero? Of course, if you have your exact measurements that’s a lot easier. Currently the two are not linked. Probably, eventually. 🙂. It’s not super powerful though, and wouldn’t be capable of running Zwift. Here’s my last attempt—far from ideal. I will be switching my smart bike out in the next few months… and it almost certainly won’t be for another Wattbike. We are learning a lot from our BETA firmware testers and will be releasing new firmware updates over the next couple of months which will continually build on the firmware Ray tested when reviewing the Atom (Next Gen). I’m not sure if that’s simply because Favero smooths slightly more (something I’ve shown in other reviews). Support Cycling Running Account Status Contact Us. Do you have a tip how to create a bike fitting for the SB20? Still, I’ve never had any tablet or phone fall off it, even despite running into it a few times walking past it. Last summer we saw Wahoo, Tacx, and Stages all launch their first smart bike offerings at Eurobike, albeit on varied timelines. This has a rubberized non-slip surface that keeps it in place, and a gap in the bottom so a charging cable can go to your phone. This is called the Wattbike HUB. …I meant Wattbike Atom next gen, not Atom x….. I usually go from back to front, but since we just talked about USB ports, the logical place for those in an ATOM 2020 would be near the front. But it’s always hard to tell. Occasionally you’d be conducting interval sessions and the trainer would either not increase power at the start of an interval or, painfully, not decrease at the end. I could historically count on a few strong sprints before the ride, another calibration, and then I’m good. Black hat forum. (Wether they’re “dominant” or not depends on whether you include Peloton in your calculations, I suppose…). Here’s my most recent gadget recommendations guide and trainers here – covering almost every category of sports gadgets out there. Here’s the update Worked with my Kickr but not SB20. I am now super confused as to what bike to buy. So that’s something that can be easily toggled in the Wattbike HUB app (prior to then pairing it to an app like Zwift). Keep in mind the measurement of the Stages Bike is at the crank arms, not somewhere in the drivetrain like most of the other bikes. If you don’t have one on hand, you could try swapping from the right just to see if it stays on. Unfortunately, the updates are relatively minor, consisting entirely of speed improvements, but not button/feel or design improvements. I’ve read that the SB20 I read has a fixed 5:1 gear, so that means, pedals keep moving as long as the flywheel is turning (like a spin bike). Tacx’s weakness is still poor availability in Europe when Stages is available with a moderate delivery time. He was unable to explain why or suggest a solution except not to use ERG mode. (Keep the buttons for programmable functions, but use the paddles for default.). I looked at one of the intervals. I haven’t seen any difference in calibrating versus not calibrating on a weekly basis. . Key downsides to the Wahoo to me seem to be the thigh rub (which would really bug me) and it just looks really rickety under load in all the videos I’ve seen. This is actually notable because the Wahoo KICKR Bike & Tacx Bike don’t actually do proper Bluetooth Smart FTMS. As you probably know, apps like Zwift, TrainerRoad, SufferFest, Rouvy, FulGaz, Kinomap, and many more all support most of these industry standards, making it easy to use whatever app you’d like. A set of those is on the way to me as we speak. “Note: If you’re trying this at home, be sure you’ve turned off TrainerRoad’s display smoothing, else you’re basically covering up the results. The relatively poor shifter buttons could also be upgraded in future as an accessory, I imagine! I don’t know exactly when I’ll shoot the rest of the sandwhich, or write up the post.  Some reviews are over 60 pages long when printed out, with hundreds of photos! In general, my rule of thumb is I want hands-on time (or butts-on in this case), and I want some realistic level of clarity on delivery time frames. As just walked in and walked out with one? Now, in the case of Wattbike, what they’ve elected to do isn’t a major revamped new product. We’re learning fast as a business and the team is doing everything they can, with my full support, to ensure you don’t wait a day longer than necessary. The whining noise seems to be coming from down by the flywheel. Whatever you do, don’t purchase from Clever Training. It’s not great with short sharp intervals, but I tend to turn ERG off for those anyway (and always did even on the Neo). Sorry to hear of your support issues. For example the Stages Dash L50/M50, Hammerhead Karoo, Wahoo units, as well as Garmin Edge series support ANT+ FE-C for trainer control, so you can re-ride outdoor rides straight from your bike head unit to your trainer. They’ve shipped over to me, so once I have them in-hand I’ll go ahead and update this post to show how they work. I had the HR hooked up, power and cadence and my watch did not record the fact that my HR got elevated. Some rest intervals can drop power really low then returns to the right target after 2-3s). But now I notice when comparing the distance displays between the Garmin Fit file and the FulGaz Fit file Given that the bike arrives basically completely built, the hard part is actually figuring out how to get it to fit you – the rider. Fingers crossed that we get it sorted before Xmas , Oh no. Plus, you'll be more awesome. – No rubbing anywhere, easily fits me and my awesome calves The only changes related to accuracy over the last few months have been specific to ERG mode responsiveness/targets (not blanket power accuracy). The Tacx Neo Bike hooks up to Tacx’s own software package, while also offering connectivity to Zwift and others. 2. They make a lot of gym bikes already so it sets them apart. I was looking at the Stages page, and their news mentions the most recent upgrade to Dream Drive is the ability to have sub-1:1 gears, which I never would have even thought was a thing they *wouldn’t* have. My question is whether that’s 2 amps per port, or for both ports combined. However, in order for most aerobars to work you’ll need to remove the tablet holder. not using anything else such at zwift, trainer road fulgaz etc? I get that realistically you’ll have to change it only once a year, but still. But nonetheless the site will do the job to get you pretty darn close using measurements you take: Afterwards, once you’ve got your measurements, it’s time to adjust things. Which, sounds and feels better. Brief update: 17 days after submitting an online support ticket on 12/12/20 (in addition to leaving messages by telephone and Facebook) re the SB20 issue I described above, I still have not received any technical support. Thought this was an issue with the firmware not so much the hardware. It’s not even buried. all use only HR. It’s not my favorite tablet holder (Stages wins that on the SB20), but it’s better than nothing (non-COVID cough…Wahoo KICKR Bike). Which is why I think just the left will work. With regard to the firmware fixes – are these going to correct the ERG mode issues DC rainmaker highlighted? Does an Apple 4k Tv Box support bluetooth smart, gear display on screen is essential. ANT+ Power Meter Profile: This broadcasts as a standard ANT+ power meter, with cadence data as well as left/right power balance data measure independently including also torque efficiency and pedal smoothness. Most important points for us: Need for mains power and durability. Oh, that’s weird on crank ID’s. I’d absolutely love to see Stages come out with a different/optional handlebar setup that feels like shifting a real bike from a levers standpoint. Will you have a 2020-2021 Trainer Recommendation Guide coming soon? Did you noticed delay in Zwift doing sprints. Can I ask, when free riding on Zwift did the gears work immediately? Wish me luck :)”. We’ve increased production and are streamlining the supply chain wherever possible to get as many bikes into the UK and into your homes as possible. Hope your luck is better than mine, but you have a stronger case with Ray’s review at your disposal now. Evidently at the time I entered the support tickets it made a difference if I clicked on the support button under stages link vs the sb20 bike as they went to different places. B) I don’t believe it actually follows standards. There are no true smart bikes on the market that fully work sans-power. All of these machines do require a fair amount of farting around with devices, sensors, remotes, passwords, etc…I think there is a group of users that would struggle getting everything going correctly. This desk is both a knock-off of the original KICKR Desk, but yet also better than it. Probably quieter too. Think my written reviews are deep? Only problem is that it comes in at double the price in Ireland at the moment – VAT included it costs E5800! Is it easy to follow along with instructors and get the maximum benefit from the class? The firmware update has been released today, with the stable update stated to correct gear resistance issues. I have looked at all the videos. Finally – what about multi-user scenarios in terms of the software settings? For example, it’s what allows the bike to be smart controllable, increasing or decreasing resistance. And I think it says enough about Wattbike for me to avoid moving forward… I just don’t believe they’ll get it right, I don’t think they know how to. are you using the link app as your soul source of training? Wattbike has a screen on their ATOM X, but that’s got a bit different front-end design. I’ve had the bike set up with two main configs over the past month: Config 1: With Favero Assioma Duo pedals My wife rides compact & 32, I ride semi & 28. Additionally, while you can see the gear display in Zwift (and FulGaz), there’s nothing on the bike itself to indicate what gearing you’re in (since you can’t simply know or feel it otherwise). Ray, did you try any of the other apps? Thanks Ray, great review. Stages said that they’re working on the stability/smoothing aspects already (which should just be a software fix), and so hopefully we’ll see that simmer down a bit going forward. Getting a smart bike so that it will be easier for my wife to ride as well, and we can avoid the hassle of swapping bikes on/off the Core. You can use it as well for your own gadget comparisons, more details here.). 🙂. But the power is the cranks – that’s what you pair to. With regard to ERG…couldn’t the Wattbike just offer a separate simulated power meter data stream and then you could use that as power source for Trainerroad combined with power match? I’ve just taken a video to send to Wahoo support. But more on that later. Also think the link app is a bit dodgy at the moment. There will be three stages, each focusing on a separate cycling discipline: Road, Tri and Mountain. Today’s ride was also made with a beta firmware version, though there’s no changes in that related to accuracy (it’s related to re-instating dual Bluetooth Smart connections). Installing said aerobars takes approximately 25 seconds. Something might be wrong. It’s easy to follow instructors, and you could execute the workout steps on this bike using the Stages App (by just simply matching resistance levels). regards I bought my wife the SB20 and she uses it with TR in ERG mode. But after 3 seconds it’s gone again. The biggest beast in fact – coming in at a whopping 50 pounds (22.7kg) The KICKR bike flywheel is a mere 5.9KG and the WattBike Atom’s is 9.3kg. While I’ve previously done an Indoor Smart Bike Shootout with the Wahoo Bike, Tacx Bike, and Wattbike Atom – that did not include the Stages bike, since the Stages Bike was about 8 months late to the party. Released with Zwift’s France map for the first-ever Virtual Tour de France, La Reine (translated “The Queen”) is the Queen Stage of the vTDF, taking riders up Mount Ventoux to the Chalet Reynard banner. I believe some retaining bolts came loose because of poor shipping practices by the freight company. full trainer control, zero issues (outside of an android specifc bug in the latest rouvy app update). Between all these standards you can basically connect to anything and everything you’d ever want to. Though, perhaps there’s some trick to leave it in a harder gear – similiar to what Elite & Kinetic have for some of their trainers. The stages link app is on my iPhone open and the sufferfest on my iPad. I wonder how much is Wattbike, how much is zwift and how much is simply smart bike limitations with ERG mode. Or is that hardware related? Download Zwift for Mac Zwift for Windows Zwift for Android Zwift for iOS Zwift Companion for iOS Zwift … And Wahoo shows their 2-year warranty for the KICKR Bike on their KICKR Bike page. I have a Garmin 935 so will not be able to control the bike from it. Their videos are of a really great quality and didn’t disappoint. The ATOM 2020 transmits data on both ANT+ & Bluetooth Smart as well, allowing interactive resistance control across both ANT+ & Bluetooth Smart. I am in the same situation, in my case for setting up our “mini-gym” between neighbours. But again, we’ll see. I hesitate to call this a pros and cons list, though that’s more or less what it is. By road feel, I’m specifically referring to how the bike accelerates and decelerates, and whether that feels realistic or not. A combination that seems to be quite common outside. With the Tacx Neo I could shift a gear, get out the saddle and go straight up to 420W (say) on a short climb. NOW, as you can, it’s far from ideal. Like many of us I’ve been waiting to read it even though I’ve already ordered the Atom 2020. assembly went well but not able to use it for training. I own a SB20 and it does not work with Rouvy. True Kinetix Bike: I’ve had this bike for a bit, then returned it while they sorted out technical issues. You can see some slight ‘tells’ of each one when viewed from a distance, in case you’re looking at imagery and want to creep spot which version someone has. Which, is why you can connect using the Stages Link app to act as that secondary display: This way you can see in real-time what you’re currently in, as well as easily switch gear mid-ride. To adjust a given component you’ll either use a rotating knob (saddle/seatpost/front post), or a lever (front handlebars fore/aft). Do you think the Tacx bike might get an upgrade next year? If I am riding at 250W and then the Erg goes to 400W for an interval, the SB20 can barely get there. If trainers or apps don’t support these standards, then it makes it far more difficult for you as the end user. – No USB ports, so when I need to power a tablet, I’ve got a long USB cord dangling to an outlet After all, most head unit companies already support it today. Would this work to do a spin type workout? Or maybe since I got the clunk-clunk noise I didn’t get the whine? I suspect the reviews and comments have over taken the reality – is still very useable, even if the ERG “hunts” a little more than others. Just looking at the variance in the peaks and valleys in each of the 8 intervals tells a pretty good story about how much more stable it is. Not sure, I haven’t heard that. With the Stages Bike, you’re going to configure this shifting using the Stages Link app. Wattbike are on the case on how to smooth this more. Is the ERG mode hopeless with their own app as well, or is it just with other apps? Or just what you pick? The knocking which rainmaker talked about in his review has started happening and is getting progressively worse. The technical issues you are seeing isn’t something I ran into (yet, I noted pretty clearly I didn’t recommend it for ERG mode focused people), and honestly looking back at 6-7 months of comments, whatever your seeing doesn’t seem to align with what others are seeing. Stages is $2,899 and Tacx Bike is $3,199 – which, makes sense. It’s one CR2032 per crank arm. Wahoo Kickr Bike Price $3,499.99. Thanks! But what’s also true is that home users on Zwift are far more likely to use/want shift confirmation than commercial users in a gym using some random app (or the Wattbike Hub app on the Android display). But without any response from Stages support, I’m left to guess. If I pair the SB20 with an Apple TV for Zwift etc will I get any heart rate data displayed or will I have to get a Bluetooth HRM instead ? Eeks, no, I haven’t heard that. I assume you weren’t using TR’s Powermatch? I have built an extensive list of my most frequently asked questions. Having a secondary app (ie the stages apps) could be the cause of your issues. This is really really really good. Hopefully it’ll get fixed under warranty, as a recent purchaser of the new Atom, is this kind of thing that worries me. Atom 20 (NextGen) just bought – will post review when it arrives! There’s also a few hex wrenches for causing trouble, and some paper manual stuffs. c) What date will the 2020 buyers guide be out? Flip open the side of the box, and everything is somehow magically packed inside: Five minutes later of unboxing, it’ll look like this: And here’s a closer up gallery of those parts: Roughly speaking this boils down to the following: A) Bike frame (IE In ‘Resistance’ mode, Great article and write-up, Thank you! There’s three ports on each side, two of which are open on each side. The current implementation of ERG mode is very disappointing however and it makes it impossible to take part in the Zwift Academy workout rides, well at least if you want to get any stars! However, I wouldn’t say that it’s a massive difference to the Wahoo KICKR Bike or Tacx NEO Bike. You should have no problems. That has its pros and cons. Now just to be clear in case it wasn’t by now, there’s no shift/gearing customization beyond the 11/22 speed option. I thought it did, but couldn’t find any reference anywhere on it and thus figured I must be just dreaming. Stages has indicated that they intend to use phone vibration when shifting as an indicator. You may remember that Zwift rolled out steering via the Elite Sterzo this past summer, and with that, promised that steering would come to smart bikes at some point too (using buttons, as all smart bike companies have long since planned for). When I connect to my Garmin in the first step, one BT connection won’t happen. And is the flywheel thing something they could hypothetically update in future via a software update? It’s more about a constant cadence. I agree that self-powering shifters, and thus having the vibration shifters of the ATOM X would have made more sense. You’ll see the same list formatting on all my indoor bike reviews. I dig into the nuances of these both within the power accuracy section. Subject: An update from Wattbike, Rich Baker, CEO, on the positive steps we’ve made I don’t think you’ll find many consumer products that do. Also, the whining noise occurs and starts to get even louder when I squeeze the brake levers, even when I’m barely spinning and applying very light force on the pedals. If you're looking for a bike that's both practical and comfortable, best suited to leisurely rides both in town and out in the countryside, then a hybrid may be your answer. Notify me of followup comments via e-mail. By road feel, I’m specifically referring to how the bike accelerates and decelerates, and whether that feels realistic or not. Here, take look at the default at left (3 steps) – and then a tweaked version at right (5 steps): It’s a pretty cool concept, though, like most of these bikes – does take a little bit to get used to. But, it’s faster. Will any wattage/hr data be displayed in the peleton app? Just to round out this question, it wouldn’t be possible for Stages to do the road-feel like bits that Tacx does, since they can’t stutter the flywheel since it’s not electromagnetic. If money was no object, I’d use a road bike on a KICKR. Its a small thing in comparison to my earlier issues, it just seems odd if its actually designed that way…. Next, there’s road feel. I don’t though have any way of knowing whether this was the Favero Assioma pedals floating down, or the Stages Bike floating up. And it’s things you don’t see or know about when it comes to marketing or just comparing specs. I’ve been trying beta/pre-production (as well as production) firmware versions for months, as Wattbike tries to address it, but ultimately, as of today they haven’t been able to do that yet. 4) Handlebar position (forward/back) Sounds like the AtomX is a lot stronger and will be a long lasting solution. In fact i’m overlooking the obvious, i’ve got a high end gaming PC in the room next door with an RTX 2070 Super. I’ll ignore any accuracy likes/dislikes in this section and keep it more on practical things, also ignoring spec-specific things too. Changes quickly, reacts with resistance quick enough. I desperately want to purchase one of these, but the warranty periods are less than generous: Tacx and Wahoo are just one year, Wattbike two. ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ Hi Ray, I read your and other tests on various smart bikes. I did the Rapha 500 half Atom next gen and half cold weather reality. It’s here that there’s unresolved trouble (something which Wattbike agrees with). Overall though, flexibility on the Wattbike ATOM on a per user standpoint is pretty much the norm for smart bikes, with the added benefit of being the one bike that includes an aerobar/TT setup. I seem to be narrowing my purchase down between these two and am conflicted which to choose. Also, since we’re looking at the frames side by side, here’s the two put next to each other. That’s trivial. Of course, you don’t have to install the tablet holder/aerobars. My challenge with the Technogym Skillbike is twofold: A) Price – it’s just crazy, and I don’t see any aspect of it that makes it worth that (4,850EUR) The secondary power meters I use clearly show that. I am just wondering if there is any feedback about the ERG power stability issue that was raised and if this is resolved? But first, let’s step back just a little bit. Or, if you’ve already got a big screen or something. Or are they a risky purchase at the current time? You can see this quite visibly below in a more recent workout on the most recent firmware version: Here, let me zoom in a bit – notice how the target for this interval is 319w, yet it’s at 394w. Use the ‘Stages Power’ app for updating the firmware on the cranks – this can be done on each crank individually. Guessing its a bug from the update, when using the Wattbike Hub i have gears 1 to 22 as expected, Hi Dara I’ve just been on a web chat with Wattbike and they said it was a Zwift issue, and they are going to With the SB20, I get out of the saddle and it responds in a strange/unrealistic way.. Now, let’s step back and approach the bike from front to back. link to support.stagescycling.com. I used to really rate the wattbike app for doing structured workouts using their classic trainer in the gym. But what’s not fine is just how wobbly it is at a given level. Thank you for your review. Put your road, mountain or tri-bike on an indoor trainer. If its a cycling buddy who just wants something for himself, I always recommend a KICKR. Wahoo and Wattbike both could technically (Wattbike on their V2 unit), but I don’t know what patents/etc might stand in the way of that. I currently had a V2 KICKR that I have enjoyed using very much and importantly has been very reliable. If I subscribe to the Peleton app for my wife what type of interaction can I expect from this bike? Can you use all the 22 gears in Zwift. Hmm, maybe that’s something that Stages can add in to the non FE-C channel. It is very common with magnetic flywheels. The Wattbike ATOM 2020 follows all of the industry norms as you’d expect from most trainers/smart bikes these days. The changes to shifting are very real, and very responsive. Thanks Mark, I’ve got everything set up now and it works like a charm! The Stages Bike also bakes in the cadence data (like everyone else). In any event, from a power accuracy standpoint, that 90-minute workout looks solidly similar. To be specific, the Stages Bike supports the following protocol transmission standards: ANT+ FE-C (Trainer Control): This is for controlling the trainer via ANT+ from apps and head units. I have used Sufferfest a lot in the past. And then with Zwift, I actually started using it with the same iPad turned vertically to run the companion app. That way it’s just there for whoever jumps on the bike. In general, the road feel of the ATOM 2020 is OK – and it doesn’t really feel that much different than the existing ATOM, despite being a different drivechain system. I have a support call in with stages but they say it will 4 – 6 days before they get back with me. As such, I simply couldn’t get (in terms of pushing buttons super fast) through the full range anywhere near as fast as I could on the ATOM 2020. I will be very interested to read your next post about Zwift, but from what I’m hearing from you already doesn’t fill me with confidence. The lag time to get another is measured in MONTHS, and when IT arrives, its pedals wobble just enough to be obnoxious. Your noise issue may be something entirely different. If I get : Bluetooth 4 Dongle To illustrate the dumb luck aspect, here’s another half-hearted sprint a short bit later. This does not include speed data. We’ll see. Failing that, if you know whats been changed I’m all ears 🙂. Is it possible that a shifting bump will be added in a firmware update? I have a sb20. You’ll notice in the screenshot below you can see the gear indicator, which is shown anytime I switch gears, for about a second or so, and then disappears. You mentioned here that there are two 2 amp USB ports. Still – despite the beast of the new grip bits, unless I crank down the handle crazy-tight, it’ll still slip.
